About our door installation
Most door problems are opening problems: a sill that was never flashed, framing that has settled out of square, a threshold set to the wrong height. We check and repair the opening before the new unit goes in, set it on a sill pan, and fix it through to the framing rather than the jamb alone.
We install fiberglass and steel entry doors from Therma-Tru and ProVia, sliding and French patio doors, and storm doors.

Doors questions
Fiberglass or steel?
Fiberglass holds its shape through the seasons and does not dent or rust, so it is our default for exposed entries. Insulated steel costs less and is very secure; it suits a covered entry well.
Do you use subcontractors?
The installation is done by our own crew. We tell you in writing if any specialist trade is involved on your job.
Do you pull the permits?
Yes. We file with your building department and schedule the inspections. We are licensed under Massachusetts HIC #204634.
What happens if you find rot once the old material is off?
You see it before we cover it. Repairs are charged at the rate agreed in the written quote, so nothing is renegotiated mid-job.
